Elizabeth Sylvania Griffin

Elizabeth S. Griffin, 83, of Vidor died Friday, December 26, 2003 at Spring Seasons Nursing Home of Vidor. A native of Atlanta GA., she has lived in Vidor since 1957, and was a bookkeeper for Dr. James Russell M.D.. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2003 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, Texas. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Self, and Martha Wells both of Vidor, brothers, Wyatt Gates of NC., Melvin Gates of Conover, NC., and Ed Gates of Greenville, SC., sisters, Ruth Pat Stone of Greenville, SC., and Mable Brockenfelt of Summerville, SC., two grandsons, Samuel Self, and Gary Wells, and two great grandsons, Levi Self, and Nathan Self. She is preceded in death by her daughter Cecelia Van Hook.
