Elese Kay Clark

Elese K. Clark, 91, of Vidor died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor, TX. A native of Shelby County, TX., she was a retired retail clerk with The White House Department Store. Elese was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor, TX. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Elese was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Ruby Kay, husband Lemmie Clark, son Homer Frank Kaiser, and great granddaughter Jessica Williams. She is survived by her daughter Louise Harper of Whitehouse, TX., brother Charles D. Bill Kay of Shelbyville, TX., sisters Elaine Glenn of Silsbee, Lois E. Fernandez of Raleigh, NC., Johnnie M. Cassell of Shelbyville, TX., Evelyn D. Miley of Huffman, TX., and Bertha L. Davidson of Conroe, TX., five grandchildren: Dana Durochez of Longview, Michael Harper of Troup, TX., Wendy McGaha of Phoenix, AZ., Todd Kaiser, and Chris Kaiser both of Vidor, five great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
