Eleanor June Drake

Eleanor J. Drake, 70, of Vidor died Saturday, May 10, 2014 at her residence. She was a native and longtime resident of Vidor. Eleanor was a retired Restaurant Manager and attended First Baptist Church of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, May 15, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Stephenson Cemetery in Vidor. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Eleanor was preceded in death by her mother Claudia Walles, sister Mary Brooks and brother Rusty Walles. She is survived by her husband of 19 years Dee Drake of Vidor, TX, son Beau Wade of Oklahoma City, OK, daughter Elizabeth Punches of Galveston, TX, step - daughter Dottie Vinkemeier of Nottingham, England, father J.L. Walles of Silsbee, TX, sisters Peggy Walles McNeely and Debbie Walles Harmon both of VIdor, TX, and 6 grandchildren.
