Edna Knapp

Edna Knapp, 98, of Vidor, TX died Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home. A native of Annacoco, LA she was a longtime resident of Vidor and a faithful member of the Church of Christ. Edna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and playing 42 but she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, December 6, 2019 beginning at 6:00p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 10:00a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Williamson Cemetery. Edna is survived by 3 daughters; Norma Morphis and her husband Harold of Vidor, Marsha Kessell of Vidor, and Susan Porter and her husband Douglas of Vidor, 1 son; Bo Knapp of Beaumont. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, 1 sister; Ivon Nelson and 1 brother; Cecil Cain. Edna was preceded in death by her husband; F.P. Knapp, Jr, 2 great grandsons; Jon Schlegel and Camden Naismith, 1 son-in-law; Joseph Kessel, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
