Eddie Diane Tharp-Holseth

Eddie Diane Tharp-Holseth, of Magnolia, TX died Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 in San Antonio, TX. A native of Shreveport, LA she was a longtime resident of Magnolia and former resident of Vidor. She was a 1966 graduate of Vidor High School and a lifeguard at the Arnold swimming pool. She loved dancing, reading mystery novels, watching John Wayne movies, working in the yard and her garden. Eddie was known for caring for others and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Visitation will be Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Eddie is survived by 2 daughters; Kimberly Herrin and her husband John of League City, TX and Heather Munns of Magnolia, 2 sons; John Holseth of Montgomery, TX and Matt Holseth and his wife Dawnitta of Magnolia, and 8 grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Cathryn Jones and her husband Gary of Mena, AR, and Scottie Mansfield and her husband Dale of Abilene, TX, 1 brother; John Bill Tharp of Montgomery and lifelong friend; Everett Holseth. Eddie was preceded in death by her parents; Scott J. and Annie Hazel Tharp. Cremation arrangement were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
