Dwight D. Palmer, 75, of Vidor died Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Jasper, Texas. A native of Columbia, MO., he was a longtime resident of Vidor, and was a retired pipefitter with Local # 195. He served his country with the United States Air Force. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Dwight is survived by his wife Mavy Palmer of Vidor, sons Kevin Rogers of Mason, OK., Justin T. Palmer of Lafayette, LA., and Bruce W. Palmer of Hemet, CA., daughter Rhonda Crosby of Lumberton, sister Rhoda McMurray of Lake Villa, IL., four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
