Duane Keith Hare

October 28, 1955 — January 5, 2008

Duane Hare, a resident of Priest River, ID for the last three years, died on January 5th. He battled liver failure and pulmonary hypertension for the past three years. He was 52. Hare, who was born in Beaumont, Texas on October 28th, 1955, spent most of his life in Texas before moving to Idaho in 2004. He graduated from the Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs with an Associates Degree in 1986 and with a Bachelors Degree in 1995, both in Biblical Studies. He was a very active member of the praise team at the Alief Church of the Nazarene in Houston, Texas from 1989 to 2004. He worked most of his life in the auto parts business and enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Judy Burge Hare, of Priest River, ID; only child, Karen D. Hare, of Ponderay, ID; father, Aubrey K. Hare of Jasper, TX; brother, Dwight D. Hare of Irving, TX and caregiver, Barbara Adkins of Priest River, ID. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor, TX. The viewing will take place on Friday, January 11th, from 6pm-9pm at Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral services will be on Saturday, January 12th, at 2:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Burge Cemetery in Vidor, Texas. Memorials in lieu of flowers will go to West Bonner County School District #83, Elementary Music and Choir Programs: 221 Main St., Priest River, ID 83856
