Doyle Eugene Norton

Doyle E. Norton, 66, of Vidor died Friday, March 9, 2007 at his residence in Vidor. A native of Nacodoches, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Doyle was a retired machinist and served his country in the U.S. Army. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2007 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his son David Norton. Doyle is survived by his faithful companion of 30 years Marie Norton of Vidor, TX, sons Michael Norton and Jason Norton, brother Robert Norton of Vidor, TX, sisters Shirley McLain of Vidor, TX, Cecile Webb of Fairmont, TX, Patsy Clark of Hemphill, TX. 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
