Douglas Gene Pairett

Douglas E. “Gene” Pairett, 64, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2002 at his residence. A native of Taylor, TX he lived in Vidor since 1961 and was president and owner of the Bar BQ Depot in Vidor. Gene was involved in many civic organizations in Vidor including the Optimist Club and was a past-president of the Vidor Chamber of Commerce. Funeral services are 2pm Monday, Nov. 11, 2002 at First Baptist Church in Vidor with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be Saturday at 5pm and all day Sunday at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Alice Pairett; son, Randall E. Pairett, Sr. and wife Laurie of Ivanhoe, TX; daughter, Nancy Kathleen Zerko and husband Del, Jr. of Vidor; five grandchildren.
