Dorothy Mcneely-Childs

Dorothy McNeely-Childs, 81, of Orangefield, TX died Tuesday, March 27th, 2018 at her residence. A native of Beaumont, TX she was a longtime former resident of Vidor, TX. and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pt. Acres, TX. Dorothy loved to spend quality time with her family especially her grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with funeral services at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Dorothy is survived by 3 daughters; Kellie Carter and her husband Pete of Vidor, Kim Neely and her husband Max of Orangefield, and Karol Dougherty and her husband Dennis of Texoma, TX, 3 sons; Kent McNeely of Mobeetie, TX, Alan Childs of Vidor, and Boyd Childs and his wife Gina also of Vidor. Dorothy was also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 sisters; Beverly Christy, Mary Beth Griffin, and Elaine Wachtel. She was preceded in death by her husbands; Jarrell McNeely and Alton Childs and 1 son; Bruce Childs.
