Dorothy Lee Stanton

Dorothy Lee Stanton, 87 of Vidor died Monday, February 24th, 2020 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Amite, Louisiana, She was longtime resident of Vidor. Dorothy was a member Central Baptist Church in Evadale and was owner/operator of the Rebel Inn Restaurant in Evadale for 30+ years. She enjoyed sewing and painting porcelain plates and cups. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star Lodge# 914 in Vidor and Evadale. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am Saturday, 29, 2020 at Central Baptist Church in Evadale with burial to follow at Jett Cemetery in Orange. Dorothy is survived by her sons John Stanton of Vidor, TX, Tracy Stanton and his wife Jeaux of Evadale, TX, sisters Sylvia Lee of San Antonio, TX and Cecile Spears of Vidor, TX, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
