Donnis Chance

Donnis Lea Chance, 86, of Vidor died Tuesday, December 15th, 2015 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Hornbeck, LA, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Donnis was a member of Rose City Baptist Church and was the cafeteria manager for 23 out of 25 years for Vidor Elementary School. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hornbeck, LA at 3:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, December 18, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home. Donnis is survived by her
daughters Sharon Hunt of Vidor, TX, Carolyn Daigle of Minden, LA, Martha Chance of Gladewater, TX and Lynette Garrett of Vidor, TX, brother Larry Sanders of Vidor, TX, sister Verna Mae Ford of Hornbeck, LA, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
