Donald Rogers

Donald Rogers, 72, of Vidor died Monday, March 13th, 2017 at Baptist Hopitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, TX. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Donald was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Vidor and retired from Pipefitters Local Union #195. He served his country in the US Army during the Veitnam Era and was a lifetime member of the VFW. Donald enjoyed fishing and boating. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, March 17, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home. Donald is survived by his wife Madeline Rogers of Vidor, TX, sons Sammy Hampshire of Vidor, TX, Wesley Hampshire of Jasper County, TX and Joe Burton of Vidor, TX, daughters Shannon Rogers Chastain of Princeton, TX, Crystal Rogers of Sour Lake, TX, Donna Rogers of Vidor, TX, Laurie Sharp of Arlington, TX, Mary Burton of Vidor, TX, Brandee Hampshire of Vidor, TX, Sheila Hampshire of Jasper County, TX, sisters Jean Johnson of Vidor, TX, Judy Nash of Vidor, TX, Rusty Eastwood of Vidor, TX, brother in law Ray Nash of Vidor, TX, 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
