Donald Michael Hurlburt

Don Hurlburt, 66, of Vidor died Friday December 5, 2003 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Marine City, MI., he lived in Vidor since 1961. Don was owner-operator of Vidor Water Well since 1965. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Orange County Radio Control Club and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday December 8, 2003 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Deweyville Community Cemetery in Deweyville, TX. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. and a rosary at 6:00 p.m. Sunday December 7, 2003 at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Sonja Bickham Hurlburt of Vidor, TX., sons: Donald Hurlburt of Great Falls, MT., Jared Hurlburt and Danny Hurlburt both of Vidor, TX., Layne Bonin of Nederland, TX., Stephen Bonin of Minot, ND., daughters: Rachel Hurlburt, Debbie Durham, Donna Hurlburt all of Vidor, TX., Chickie of Kountze, TX., brothers: Jim Hurlburt of San Diego, CA., Bill Hurlburt of MI., Elton Hurlburt of Vidor, TX., Paul Hurlburt of MN., Mark Hurlburt of Marine City, MI., Bruce Hurlburt of MI., sisters: Anne Klein of MI., Rita Pinkerton of PA., Liz McClelland of PA, Minnie Jackson of Tampa, FL., Diane Maddox of Tampa, FL., Darlene Daughtery of Joplin, MO., and Laura Housewright of Dallas, TX., twelve grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
