Donald 'OOP' Bryan, 80, of Vidor died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A lifelong resident of Vidor, Donald was a retired millwright with Owens Illinois-Inland Orange Papermill. Donald was a member of the Vidor Masonic Lodge #1286, where he reached his 32nd degree and became a Shriner. Donald served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War, and was a member of the Vidor VFW Post #8246. Donald was a high school referee, and a Vidor Youth Baseball League coach. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with a military and masonic burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Floyd R. and Vera E. Bryan, and his brothers B.W. Bryan, and Kenneth Bryan. Donald is survived by his sons David Bryan and wife Mindy of Austin, TX., Jerry Bryan and wife Tina of Longview, TX., Kevin Dale Bryan, and his heart son Tod Kirkland both of Vidor, the mother of his children Delores 'Dee' Bryan of Houston, brother Floyd K. 'Bud' Bryan and wife Gice of Vidor, sister Ruby Foreman and husband Jerry of Vidor, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
