Dena Kay Goad Tobleman

Dena Kay Goad Tobleman, 47, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 29, 2008 after a two year battle with cancer. Dena graduated from Bradford High School, she continued her education at ASU-Jonesboro. She received her masters at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Dena taught school for 24 years as a Speech Therapist at Oak Forest Elementary School in Vidor, Texas. Dena is survived by her husband Rick, and 10 year old son Trace both of Vidor. Her parents, Pat Goad, Kin Goad, and only brother Kenny Goad all from Bradford, AR. Dena is survived by one sister Karla Franks of Lumberton, TX. She also leaves many relatives and friends. To know Dena was to love her. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Ridgewood Church of Christ in Beaumont, where she was a faithful member. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dena Goad Tobleman Memorial Fund at Citizens State Bank, P.O. Box 9, Bradford, AR. 72020. This program is set up to help children attend Church camp and further their education.
