DeDe Keene, 68, of Vidor, TX died Tuesday, February 14th, 2017 at home. A native of Beaumont, TX she was a longtime resident of Vidor who knew no strangers and was a prayer warrior. DeDe was also an animal advocate. She was very passionate about her ministry known as Americans Missing and Abducted and Lost Persons (A.M.A.L.P.) and her website was Voices 4 The Missing. DeDe won every singing competition she entered and even pursued a country music career in Nashville, TN. She also performed at the openings of Parkdale Mall and Crossroads shopping center. A graveside service will be Friday, February 17, 2017 at Del Rose Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. DeDe is survived by her husband; Dale Keene of 18 years, 1 son; Joey Richlen of Fredericksburg, TX, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 sisters; Patricia Robinson of Boise, ID, Gwen Trahan of Patterson, LA, Sandra Jones of Vidor, TX and Donna Fox of Jasper, TX, and 1 brother; William Lowe of Vicksburg, MS along with several nieces and nephews. DeDe was preceded in death by her mother; Lena Robinson, father; Evan Clark and 1 sister; Barbara Hock.
