Delana Kay Galaviz

Delana K. Galaviz, 47 of Vidor died Wednesday, July 11th, 2018 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont,TX ,she was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Delana was a homemaker, a loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. Most of all she enjoyed painting rocks and caring for her grandchildren. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home. Delana was preceded in by mother Mattie Jackson, sister Rhonda Ward, brothers Scott Arthur Brady and Bobby Jackson. She is survived by her husband of 24 years Joseph Galaviz of Vidor, TX, sons Taylor Maxwell and his wife Jennifer of Vidor, TX, Gage Galaviz and his wife Amber of Lumberton, TX, Draven Galaviz and his wife Mitzi of Vidor, TX, father Robert Lee Jackson Sr. of Vidor, TX, brothers John T. Brady II and his wife Aileen of Frisco, TX, Jason A. Jackson and his wife Jackie of Beaumont, TX, sisters Elizabeth Jensen and her husband Tracy of Eau Claire, WI, Brenda Montgomery of Columbus, OH, Lynda Marshall and her husband John of Hallsville, TX, 7 grandchildren Reid Gregory, Savanna Rae, Alistair Scott, Oliver Auz, Declan Avery, Zadie Mae and Vaida Carlene.
