Deborah Sue Taylor

Deborah Sue Taylor, 62, of Gist died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Southeast Texas Medical Center in Port Artur, TX. A native of Dixon, TX, she was a longtime resident of Gist. Deborah was a retired director of nursing at local nursing homes and attended Gist United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Gist United Pentecostal Church, with burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, October 30, 2012 and at 12:00 pm Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Gist United Pentecostal Church. Deborah is survived her husband Buford Taylor, sons Robert and Steve Taylor, daughter Sherry Johnson all of Gist, TX, sister Freda Fletcher of Mauriceville, TX, and 5 grandchildren.
