Davis "Dave" Richard Vickers Jr.

Dave Vickers, 63 of Houston, TX died Tuesday, February 18th, 2020 at HCA Houston Healthcare-Conroe in Conroe, TX. A native of Sinton, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor, before moving to Houston two years ago. Dave was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. He was a chemical engineer and received his BA in chemical engineering from Lamar University. Dave enjoyed fishing, the beach and being by the water. Visitation will be held between 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am Friday, February 21, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Dave is survived by his daughter Annette Williamson of Fannett, TX, sons Davis Richard Vickers III of Vidor, TX, Daniel Ryan Vickers of Atlanta, GA and Dustin Randall Vickers of Hamshire, TX, mother Mary Helen Vickers of Southlake, TX, sister Valerie Jordan of Southlake, TX, brother Don Vickers of Houston, TX and 6 grandchildren.
