David Sevier

David Sevier, 80, of Vidor, TX died Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Glenwood, AR he was a longtime resident of Vidor. He worked in the retail industry in maintenance and enjoyed going to the casinos. David also enjoyed writing music, singing, collecting coins and stamps. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, July 5, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years; Sybil Sevier, 2 daughters; Lora Engelberg and her husband Jason Furmage of North Augusta, SC and Debra Cole and her husband Rodney of Vidor, 1 son; William Sevier and his wife Katie of Sharpsville, IN, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. David is also survived by 2 sisters; Gail Reale and Jill Sevier and 1 brother; Terry Sevier. He was preceded in death by his parents; Russell and Mercedese Sevier and 4 brothers. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
