Darrel Lee Howard

Darrel L. Howard, 69, of Vidor died Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Pitkin, LA., he has lived in Vidor for 18 years and was a retired Butcher after 46 years, and worked for Price Low Foods. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Delorse Howard, and sister Aileen Bailey. He is survived by his sons Daniel Howard of Vidor, and Darrel W. Howard of Buna, daughters Debbie Howard, and Donna Powell both of Vidor, brothers Galen Howard of Las Vegas, NV., and Kenneth Howard of Kingwood, TX., eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Forest Baptist Church Music Ministries, 4800 N. Main St., Vidor, Texas 77662.
