Darlene Gayle Odom

Darlene G. Odom, 62, of Vidor died Friday, February 3, 2012 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Darlene was a homemaker, devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Maple Crest Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Autumn Oaks Cemetery in Orange, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Monday, February 6, 2012 at Pecan Baptist Church. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Pearl Finley, brother Paul Finley. She is survived by her husband Paul Odom, sons Johnny and Hershel Odom both of Vidor, TX, daughters Darla Odom of Vidor, TX, Diane DeRahus of Orangefield, TX, brothers Cecil Clark of Vidor, TX, Hershel Finley of Beaumont, TX, Charles Finley of Kankakee, IL, sisters Lynn Brown of Orlando, FL, Dorothy Gunn of Lewisville, TX, Diann Fechner of Beaumont, TX, Sara Meroney of Austin, TX, Sheila Madaffri of Beaumont, TX and 9 grandchildren.
