Daniel Howard, 68, of Port Acres died Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Promise Specialty Hospital in Port Arthur, TX. A native of Bloomberg, TX., he has lived in Port Acres for 15 years, and was a retired plant supervisor with Texaco Refinery. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Autumn Oaks Cemetery in Orange, Texas under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his sons, Richard Howard of Orange, TX., Robert Howard, Ronnie Howard, and Randall Howard all of Vidor, daughter, Robin Sorrell of Vidor, brothers, Freddie Howard of Bridge City, TX., and Earl Howard of Tulsa, OK., and ten grandchildren.
