Dan Hemmenway

Dan Hemmenway, 78, of Vidor died January 17, 2006 at Vidor Manor Nursing Home in Vidor, TX. A native of Port Neches, TX., he has lived in Vidor since 1929 , and was owner operator of Dan’s Heating and Air Conditioning in Vidor for 40 years. He was a member of The Odd Fellows Club, and was a retired captain of the Vidor Reserve Police Department. Cremation arrangements were arranged with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He was preceded in death by his sister Letha Wagner. He is survived by his sons, Luther Barry Hemmenway, Clarence E. Hemmenway, and Alcide “Pete” Hemmenway all of Vidor, daughter, Mavis Hall of Silsbee, TX., brother, Travis Hemmenway of Vidor, sisters, Myrtle Merideno , and Ethel Marie both of Vidor, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, Ohio 44720.
