Conway Gordon West

Conway West, 90, of Vidor died Monday, April 7, 2008 at his residence. A native of Aurelle, AR, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Conway was a retired Salesman and was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. He served his country in the US Army during WW II. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Pine Forest Baptist Church, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, a private interment will follow. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Conway is survived by his wife of 63 years Hazel West, son Ben West of Vidor, TX, daughters Connie Colina of Austin, TX, Elizabeth West of Vidor, TX, Joan Crawford of Orange, TX, sisters Lois Elkins of Spearsville, LA, Lynette Ellis-Cranford of Milton, FL, 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
