Connie M. Briggs, 56, of Driggs, Idaho died Sunday, July 16, 2006 at her residence. A native of Port Arthur, Texas she has lived in Driggs for 8 months and was a self-employed Cosmetologist for 20 years. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2006 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Elva Dean Ross, and her son Brent Briggs, Jr. She is survived by her husband Brent Briggs, Sr of Shelley, ID., daughters Natalie Briggs of Beaumont, Cherise Fawcett of Vidor, Scarlett Parkinson of St. Anthony, ID., Somer Williamson of Vidor, and Candyce Runyan of Alta, WY., brothers John Ross, Jr of Buna, TX., and Billy Ross of Houston, TX., sisters Terri Schultz of St. Anthony, ID., Joan Elkins and Jane Britt both of Nederland, TX., Kathy Williams of Clear Lake, TX., and Kim Herbert of Sterling, CO., and 14 grandchildren.
