Connie Lynn Stunkard

Connie Lynn Stunkard, 51, of Vidor, TX passed away Saturday, February 18th, 2017at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born July 20th, 1965 in Beaumont, TX. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. At the family's request a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Connie is survived by her son; Ronald "Scooter" Stunkard of Vidor, 1 brother; Michael Stephens and his wife Charlotte, 3 nephews; Thomas Kitchens, Timothy Stephens, and Todd Stephens, and 1 niece; Melissa Cook. Connie was preceded in death by her husband; Edward J. Stunkard and parents; Ronald and Loretta Stephens, all of Vidor. The family would like to thank all of the nurses from area hospice agencies who cared for Connie during her battle with cancer and a special word of appreciation to her closest friend, Christy Shaw. In lieu of flowers the family request that you make a donation to the charity of your choice. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
