Connie Lee Deskin, 63, of Vidor, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. Born at Fort Knox, Kentucky, Connie later made Vidor her home, where she created a lifetime of cherished memories with family and friends. A woman of strength and determination, Connie worked in construction, a field that showcased her hardworking spirit and resilience. In her free time, she delighted in spending time with her family, which brought her the greatest joy. Connie is survived by her beloved children, Grace Roark and husband Joe of Vidor, TX, and Amber Morgan and husband Terry Williams of Vidor, TX. She also leaves behind her devoted sisters Karen Hayes of Ohio, Sharron Bush of Galveston, TX, Julie Blair of Ohio, Janet Harris of Livingston, TX, and Nancy Thorton of Brazoria, TX. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Kiersten Manders, Kaylee Conn, Dustie Roark, Hunter Roark, Brianna Williams, and Braxton Williams, as well as her precious great-granddaughter, Arya Conn, with another great-grandchild on the way. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, James David and Nancy Ethel Harris, and her brother, James David Harris Jr. Connie’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, strength, and dedication to her family. A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at a later date to honor the beautiful life she led.
