Clifford W. Whitehead, Jr.

Clifford W. Whitehead, Jr., 70, of Vidor, Texas died Friday November 8, 2002 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Cushing, Texas he lived in Vidor for the past 33 years. He served his country in the U.S. Navy in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Whitehead owned Whitehead Sewing Company in MacArthur Shopping Center in Orange, Texas for 33 years. He was a member of the American Legion in Vidor, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday November 10, 2002 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Vidor with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, Texas. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Marie Whitehead of Vidor, TX., daughters: Pat Cerniglia of Beaumont, TX., Nancy King of Orange, TX., June Turner of Brownsville, TX., Sherri Brumley of Vidor, TX., Karen Sarver of Arkansas. 5 brothers, 1 sister, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
