Red Talcott, 89, of Vidor died Saturday, July, 11, 2009 at his residence. A native of Hardstey, OK, he has lived in Vidor since 1938. Red was a self employed mechanic. Red and Bertha Juanita celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary July 5. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July, 16, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Red is survived by his wife Bertha Juanita Talcott, sons Earl and Frank Talcott both of Vidor, TX, Donald Talcott of China, TX, daughter Linell Soileau of China, TX, brother Daniel Talcott of Guymon, OK, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren.
