Cliff Utley 76, of Vidor went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, February 1st, 2022 at Riceland Hospice in Winnie, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. He worked as a machinist and retired from Gulfco after more than forty years. Cliff was also a member of the United States Marines and attended active duty training at Camp Pendleton in California from September 23, 1965 to March 22, 1966. He was a rifleman and earned an Expert Rifle Badge M-14. He completed his reserve duty September 12, 1971. He was an avid golfer, winning several city tournaments and even scored a whole in one. You could always find him under the hood of a project car and know that it was going to be faster and customized better than it started out. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Friday, February 4th, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The funeral will take place Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Cliff is survived by his wife of 23 years Jamie Utley of Vidor, TX, his sons Jeremy Self of Austin, TX and James Davis of Milton, FL, as well as his sister Eva Marie Henry of Fresno, CA, and his six grandchildren.
