Claude H. Douget

Claude H. Douget Sr., 83, of Port Arthur died Monday, May 8th, 2017 at Vidor Health and Rehab Center in Vidor. A native of Basile, LA, he was a lifelong resident of the Golden Triangle. Claude was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Port Arthur and served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He retired from Gulf States as Operations Supervisor. claude enjoyed fishing, golfing, computers and scroll woodwork. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches. Claude was preceded in death by his wife Dolores M. Douget, daughters Darlene Douget Brown, Beth Douget LeDoux, and Cindy Douget Brandon. He is survived by his sons Claude "Bubba" H. Douget Jr. and wife Barbara of Vidor, TX, Brett A. Douget of Spring, TX, 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
