Claude “Audie” Boulet, Jr, 80 of Vidor died Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Indian Bayou, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Claude was the owner/operator of Boulet Enterprises. He served in the Merchant Marines from 1944 - 1946. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with cremation to follow. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. Claude was preceded in death by his brothers: Douglas and Jimmy Boulet, sisters Jean Vaughn and Vie Bedair. He is survived by his wife Roberta “Cookie” Boulet of Vidor, TX, sons Johnny Mack Boulet of The Colony, TX, Claude A. Boulet, III of Plano, TX, step son Michael Mallett of Amarillo, TX, daughter Bettie Mae Cassity of Portland, TX, brothers Elmer Boulet and Charles Boulet, sisters Barbara Vickers, Sherial Boulet, Linda Beaumont, Jo Helen Brau, Alice Bomboy, Kay Morgan, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
