Clara Anderson

Clara Anderson, 95, of Vidor, TX died Monday, December 18th, 2017 in Baytown, TX. A native of Orangefield, TX she was a longtime resident of Duncan Woods, TX. Clara was a cattle rancher and enjoyed deer hunting, crocheting and reading. She loved horses and in her younger years she was a barrel racer. Visitation will be Friday, December 22, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Pecan Acre Baptist Church in Vidor with funeral services at 10:00 a.m.. Interment will follow at Stephenson Cemetery. Clara is survived by a son; George Anderson and his wife Andria of Orangefield, daughter-in-law; Carolyn Anderson of Baytown, 6 grandchildren; Melanie Mason and her husband Larry, Jared Anderson and his wife Dolly, Keli Zimmerman and her husband Chris, Alicia Wake and her husband Larry, Seth Anderson and his wife Carol, and Lauren Cox and her husband Kyle. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and 5 great-great-great grandchildren. Clara was preceded in death by her husband; Powell Anderson, son; Obert Anderson, grandson; Gary Morse, brother; Leslie Sorter, and sister; Peggy Welborn.
