Cindy Sue Sparkman, affectionately known as "Momma Cindy," left this world on September 27, 2024, in Beaumont, Texas, at the age of 59. Born on March 23, 1965, in Port Arthur, Texas, Cindy was a radiant soul who touched the lives of many through her genuine warmth and unwavering kindness.

Cindy devoted over 18 years to her career as a maintenance supervisor for the County of Orange, Texas. Her dedication to her work mirrored her dedication to her family, whom she cherished above all else. She was proud of her accomplishments, and none brought her more joy than her role as a mother and grandmother. Her sons, Brandon Rogas wife Britney  and James Sparkman and wife Lara, were her greatest pride, and her grandchildren, Thomas Sparkman and Britlee Rogas, filled her life with boundless joy.

A 1983 graduate of Orangefield High School, Cindy was full of life, always sporting a smile that could brighten any room. Her caring heart and giving spirit were evident in everything she did. Whether it was through her generous acts, such as helping those in need, especially children, or her remarkable ability to create unforgettable holiday moments, she made an everlasting impression on all who knew her. Christmas was particularly special; Cindy went out of her way to ensure her family and friends experienced spectacular celebrations that they would always remember.

Cindy was nurtured by her loving family, including her parents, Conrad and Charlotte Cooper, and her grandmother, Gladys Simon. She is survived by her beloved sister and brother-in-law, Nick and Melissa Copeland, her stepbrother Paul Cooper and wife Pam, along with several aunts, uncles, and her cherished nieces and nephews. Her familial bonds were strong, deeply rooted in love and mutual support, providing her with the strength to face life’s challenges.

In addition to her devotion to family, Cindy cherished her hobbies, happily engaging in caregiving, fishing, traveling, and riding motorcycles. She was enthusiastic about live music, particularly country and zydeco, often finding joy in dancing to the beat with friends and family. Her zest for life inspired those around her, reminding them of the beauty in everyday moments.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Rogas, her beloved spouse, Freddie Sparkman, her grandson, Kegan Rogas, and her grandfather, Stanley Simon. Their memories will remain forever cherished, weaving a tapestry of love that continues through her family.

Momma Cindy's legacy of kindness, love, and community service will never fade. Her spirit will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched, a testament to a life beautifully lived. As we gather to honor her memory, let us remember the lessons she taught us: to love fiercely, to give generously, and to celebrate life with joy and laughter.
