Charlotte Dean Basar

Charlotte D. Basar, 71 of Vidor died Tuesday, January 7th, 2020 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Charlotte was a member of Caney Creek Open Door Church and Central Baptist Church both in Vidor. She was owner of Mayabb Day Care Home and loved to sing at nursing homes and churches. Charlotte enjoyed gardening and reading, but most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 10, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents Dean and Mabel McDonald. She is survived by her husband of 2 years Frank Basar of Vidor, TX, sons Scottie Mayabb of Shanghai, China, Terry Mayabb of Garvin, OK, Jerry Mayabb and his wife Jasmine of Vidor, TX, brothers Ronnie McDonald of Broken Bow, OK, sister Glenda Brown of Idabel, OK , Glena Beam and her husband LeRoy of Broken Bow, OK, Donna Jones and her husband Terry of Cordell, OK, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
