Charles Wynn Young

Charles Wynn Young, 83, of Vidor, TX died Wednesday, March 1st, 2017 at home. A native of Orange, TX he was a longtime resident of Vidor. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the United States Postal Service after 39 years. Charles was known as being a devout family man. Visitation will be Friday, March 3, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dolores Young of Vidor, 2 daughters; Patricia Benoit of Vidor and Penny Foster and her husband Curtis also of Vidor, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 sister; Annie Mae Wilkerson. Charles was preceded in death by a daughter; Coy Bergen.
