Charles Terrell Tallent

Charles T. Tallent, 83, of Beaumont, died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Franklin, NC., he has lived in Beaumont for 33 years, and was a construction superintendent. He served his country in the United States Army/Air Force during WWII. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Beaumont. Charles was preceded in death by his 2nd wife Alta Hallen Atherton Tallent. He is survived by his sons Stephen Greg Tallent and wife Alice of Johnson City, TN., Eric Tallent and wife Dianne of Huntsville, AL., and step-son Steve Atherton and wife Becky of Vidor, first wife Edith McDowell of Franklin, NC., five grandchildren: David Tallent and wife Ginny, Emily Tallent, Will Tallent, Andre Lee and husband Michael, and Bradley Atherton, and five great grandchildren: Samuel Tallent, Caleb Tallent, Matthew Tallent, Myah and Bronson Lee.
