Charles Tappe

Charles Tappe Jr., 81 died Monday, August 31, 2015 in Beaumont. A native of Brenham, Texas he was a longtime resident of Vidor who loved to spend quality time with his family and friends, especially his 2 grandsons. Charles is survived by his son, Charles Robin Tappe and wife Melissa of Vidor, 2 grandsons, Braden and Camden Tappe of Vidor, and sister, Frances Schulze. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn, of 61 years, daughter, Sheila Tappe McDonald, along with 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. A gathering of family and friends will be held, Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Faith Assembly of God in Vidor with burial to follow at a later date in Brenham, Texas. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
