Charles Sherman Hosea

Charles “Captain” Sherman Hosea, 76, of Hemphill, Texas died Sunday June 22, 2003 at Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches, Texas. Charles lived in Hemphill for the past 15 years and was a member of the masonic lodge in Hemphill. Charles is a retired Engineer with the Kansas City Railroad. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 25, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Forestlawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visiatation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday June 24, 2003 at the funeral home. Charles is survived by his wife of 22 years Loy Hosea of Hemphill, TX., sons: Stephen Kovatch of Orange, TX., Keith Kovatch of Santa Fe, TX., Larry Kovatch of Port Arthur, TX., daughters: Linda Medrano of Vidor, TX., Lisa Jannise of Nederland, TX., Jana Gary of Vidor, TX., 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
