Charles Ray Oliver Sr., 81, of Vidor died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Hemphill, Texas, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Charles was an Oil Field Worker and worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber as a floor hand. He was an avid fisherman and loved riding motorcycles. His favorite pass time was sitting on the porch stirring the pot. He served in the Texas National Guard. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Charles is preceded in death by his wife Betty Jo Oliver, and brother Herman Oliver. He is survived by his sons Brad Oliver of Orange, TX, Charles Oliver Jr. of Vidor, TX, Joe Duclion of Vidor, TX, Marvin Duclion and his wife Janet of Vidor,daughters Kim Mitchell and her husband James of Vinton, LA, Veronica Henson and her husband Art of Vidor, TX, sister Fannie Oliver Wright, grandchildren Ashley Mitchell, Dustine Duclion, Brandon Duclion, Dustin Oliver, Blake Oliver, Jarred Oliver, Crystal Oliver, Jessee Duclion, Taylor Boswell, Slate Duclion and Laney Duclion, great grandchildren Damion Kelley, Aubreigh Oliver, Brenner Duclion and Tryce Duclion
