Charles Ray Absher

Charles Absher, 73, of Vidor died Friday, April 4, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Limestone County, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Charles was a retired Director of Maintenance for VISD and served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Rotary Club in Hamlin, TX. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at a later time. Charles is survived by his wife Faith Absher, son William 'Bill' Absher and his wife Charity of Clovis, CA, daughters Lisa Vasquez and her husband Ray of Ruidoso, NM, Pam Robison and her husband Dan of Dallas, TX, grandchildren Jordan, Aimee, Danielle, Billy, and Caitlin.
