Charles L. Klock, Sr., 76, of Orange died Thursday, October 9, 2003 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Davenport, Oklahoma he has lived in Orange for 20 years, and was a retired insurance salesman, minister, and a crossing guard for the West Orange ISD. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 11, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Melba Klock of Vidor, sons, Charles L. Klock, Jr., of Mauriceville, TX., Timothy W. Klock of Beaumont, TX., Terry A. Klock of Loveland, CO., James E. Klock of Richmond, TX., step-sons, Ellison Crew of Beaumont, TX., and Donnie Smith of Orange, TX., daughters, Belinda D. Klock of Beaumont, TX., step-daughters, Cindy Ray of Orange, TX., and Donna Howland of Orange, TX., and the mother of his children Ruth Klock of Beaumont, TX., sisters, Dortha Holmes of Texas City, TX., Aline Sanders of Beaumont, TX., and Dean Baxter of Vidor, TX. Twenty-one grandchildren, and three great grandhcildren.
