Charles "Charlie" Jones

Charlie Jones, 83 died Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016 in Beaumont. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Charlie was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and liked to cook and tell stories but he especially loved spending quality time with his family and friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. Charlie is survived by his wife, Doris of 62 years, son, Charles Michael Jones and wife Yolanda of Vidor, 2 daughters, Carol Lynn Bersch and husband Michael of Ferndale, WA, and Linda Gail Pearsall and husband John of Katy, TX, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ruth Jaster and Mary Louis Humphrey and a brother, John R. Jones, Jr. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
