Charles Arnold Mcneely, Sr

Charles A. McNeely, 77, of Vidor died Monday, December 17, 2012 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Charles was a native of Rose City, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Charles retired from Gulf States Utilities after 40 years as an Engineer. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Vidor and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Charles served his country in the US Army Paratroopers during the Korean War. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Charles was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn McNeely, sons Michael and Walter McNeely. He is survived by his son Chuck McNeely and his wife Cathy of Vidor, TX, daughter Deanna Bradford and her husband Bruce of Coppell, TX, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
