Cecil James "C.J." Bonin

Cecil J. "C.J." Bonin, 83, of Vidor died Monday, October 12th, 2015 at his residence. A native of Amelia, TX, C.J. was a longtime resident of Vidor. He was a member of St. Anthony's Basilica in Beaumont and was a machinist for Mobil Oil when he retired in 1987. C.J. was a world class champion skeet shooter and was a member of the Orange County Gun Club, he was also a member of the 1 and 100 Gun Club. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:30 pm and a Christian vigil at 7:30 Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. C.J. is survived by his wife of 63 years Jeanie Bonin, daughter Penny Medley and her husband Gary, brother Ronnie Bonin and 2 grandsons James and Alan Medley.
