Carol Jean Kennedy

Carol J. Kennedy, 68, of Vidor died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at her residence. A native of Port Arthur, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Carol was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Orangefield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Monday, July 9, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Fred Kennedy, parents Henry and Effie Robbins. She is survived by her daughters Dana Kennedy of Vidor, TX, Shelly Melancon of Groves, TX, Tammy Kennedy of Upland, CA, Leslie Smith of China, TX, Phillis O'Connor of Valley View, TX, brothers Billy Robbins of Buna, TX, Donny Robbins of Vidor, TX, Kenneth Robbins of Austin, TX, Craig Robbins of Vidor, TX, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
