Carla Hammonds

Carla Hammonds, 59, of Vidor, TX died Thursday, August 15th, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Kinder, LA she was a longtime resident of Vidor who enjoyed cooking, fishing, going to the beach, and watching TV but she especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carla is survived by her husband of 42 years; Bobby Hammonds, 1 daughter; Chelsea Viator and her husband Derrick of Mont Belvieu, TX, 3 sons; Brand Hammonds, Dillion Hammonds, and Matthew Hammonds all of Vidor. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren; Jordan Hammonds and Raylee K. Viator, her mother; Genevieve Vincent of Jennings, LA and 2 brothers; Marlin Baker and Randy Baker. Carla was preceded in death by her father; Armon Baker. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
