Carl Ray Gage

Carl R. Gage, 75, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at his residence in Vidor. A native of Douglas, TX, he was a resident of Vidor for 41 years. Carl retired from Temple Inland Paper Mill after 21 years and served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW Post 8246 in Vidor and was a former member of the Beaumont Fire Department for 9 years. Carl never met a stranger and was a avid fisherman and hunter. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Carl was preceded in death by his grandson Jasen Graham. He is survived by his wife Seawillow Gage of Vidor, TX, daughters Linda Troxell of Bullard, TX, Sabrina Schneider of Vidor, TX, Patti Gage Myers of Livingston, TX, Carlene Woosley of Lumberton, TX, Brandie Crossley of Hewitt, TX, sister Juanita Charlton of Mid County, TX, grandchildren Ricki Allen Jr., Michael Allen, Todd Conner, Cody Cooper, Khris Holbrooke, Luke Myers, Kali Jo Myers, Jordan Woosley, Mallory Woosley, Alex Crossley, and 4 great grandchildren
